If you've been waiting for the 'perfect' little girl, look no further! This is Cookie, who was turned over to the shelter by her family because they had too many pets. Cookie went into foster care while at the shelter, so we were able to learn quite a bit about her.
Cookie's foster mom had nothing, but rave reviews about this little girl. She called Cookie a little 'Star'! Cookie is housetrained and walks nicely on lead. She is good with all dogs, both large and small. She also seems to be very good with children and has a very non-reactive personality. She just kind of goes with the flow, quietly, and appreciatively.
Her foster mom said she's pretty much a perfect little lady. Cookie loves to be with her person all the time. She loves to snuggle on your lap and then doesn't move - she is so easy! Cookie would even look adorable in a little dress for someone who wants to pamper her like the princess that she is.
Cookie would be a great addition to a family with respectful children (no toddlers, please, due to her small size), a couple, or even a senior citizen. She is so friendly that she would probably be a good candidate to go to work with you at a canine friendly office! She also is very quiet. We have yet to hear her bark. She is an absolute dream dog!
Cookie has been spayed, is now up to date on her shots including rabies and licensed for the County of Ventura. Now all she needs to complete her 2nd chance at a happy life, is for her furever family to adopt her! Is this sweet sugar pie the one you have been waiting for?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
* All TLC dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adopted, up to date on their shots and if over 4 months, will have their rabies vaccine.
* All TLC dogs and puppies will be microchipped.
* All TLC dogs and puppies will be licensed for the County of Ventura, transferable to the new owner only if a resident of the county.

* Adoption donations are tax deductible. They range from $200 for senior adults, $300 for adults and $400 for puppies. Senior (humans) receive a $50 reduction in the adoption donation year round. Senior (canines) over 10 years are reduced to $200. Black dogs are adopted on "Black Dog Fridays" for a 20% reduction in the adoption donation (adults and puppies). 100% of the profits go directly back into saving more dogs off of the kill lists at local shelters - hence you are saving more than one dog when you adopt from TLC.
